I was hoping for some of that 311 positivity over here lol. 311 (pronounced 'three eleven') is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. Other than a couple songs it just doesn’t draw me in. There’s always a little feeling like “didn’t they already make this song but better?” What makes it worse is that Mosaic was so forward thinking and fresh.ĭTOM is just bland and highly uninspired. All the rest of the songs on the album besides maybe better space (my favorite off the album) feel very derivative of other better 311 songs. Anyway the Feldy tracks on Voyager are range from bad to vile (good feeling) and other than born to live I really have trouble listening to them. I actually love Places where the mind goes and Perfect mistake and while I don’t like the other three off mosaic all that much I can find some enjoyment out of them (TTCOF’s lyrics are actually impressive to me…I don’t know you could fit that many 2012 pop cliches in one song lol). I mean crossfire is pretty good but we all know the backstory there and then the Feldy songs are just abominations. The album was recorded on Septemat the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. DJ's: WRITE ON LETTERHEAD FOR copies of new C. The Rolling Stone Album Guide: Live is the first live album by 311. Voyager isn’t all bad but for me it’s definitely the album that I come back to the least. And the portable phonographs: Embassy (YN1431C), monaural, all-transistor. Warning: overlong description of my thoughts on voyager incoming The music video begins with shots of strange. Yeah for some reason strong all along just drive me insane! Something about it… 311 performs in the music video Prisoner from the album Transistor recorded for Capricorn Records.
